تختلف إحصاءات أعداد المساجد بين المصادر والدول؛ لأن بعضها يحصي المساجد المسجلة رسميًا، بينما يضم بعضها الآخر المصليات والمراكز الدينية. لذلك تركز هذه الورشة على عشر دول تمتلك تراثًا واسعًا ومؤثرًا في عمارة المساجد، من دون تقديم ترتيب إحصائي نهائي. Estimates of mosque numbers vary among countries and sources. Some count only officially registered mosques, while others include prayer halls and religious centers. This workshop therefore explores ten countries with extensive and influential traditions of mosque architecture without presenting a definitive statistical ranking.
